Kiss The Frog – Frog Prince Lipstick Review

Hello & Hallo,

Even if it feels much, much longer Christmas was only 2 weeks ago! How nice was this time of over-eating and seemingly never ending booze…and all those presents!!

My highlight was a little present I got – The Frog Prince lipstick by Lipstick Queen.

The lipstick is green BUT once you put it on the colour is a lovely sheer pink. The colour changes due to your skin temperature & pH value…so it is unique to every person using it. Even though this is probably more a gimmick than anything else but it’s fun! Also, the lipstick is really moisturising & the colour stays a really long time!

My verdict: I will buy it again once I have used this one up!

Bye & Tschüss,

2016 – I am ready!!!

Happy New Year!I haven’t posted anything in a LONG time and I thought if I don’t start this week I will not post anything at all in 2016! So I’m making a start now!

I hope everyone had a nice Christmas & New Year. This time is a bit odd I find. You spend very little time at work and if you do it is either crazy busy or really quiet.

Over Christmas I went home to Berlin for 10 days! This was amazing! First I thought it would be too long & at the end I almost didn’t want to come back. Being away from London for such a long stretch of time was great!

Don’t get me wrong – I LOVE London and always will. But the last few month I have not been particularly happy at work and just been in a bit of a rut in general. I feel like I was stuck and not going anywhere. The time at home gave me some distance & perspective on things. It is not so bad & if I am unhappy than I am the only person who can do something about it!

What am I doing now?! For the first time ever really I have made some New Year’s resolutions…nothing typical like stop smoking (I don’t smoke and didn’t want to take it up in order to stop) or unachievable like be chief editor of Vogue (I wish). I picked 2 resolutions which should be easy to keep.

My New Year’s resolutions are:

  1. Meet friends more often. I moved to London 3 ½ years ago but it took me a while to make friends & I want to build these friendships out further. So I am going to meet friends at least fortnightly for drinks or dinner or brunch or whatever. …I probably do this already but it is good to do it more!
  2. Get happy at / with work. Engage more at work, educate myself in marketing & others fields I’m interested in and stay open minded to change!

This is it! 2016 – show me what you got!

Bye & Tschüss,

Marlene
